Sami Khedira was born in Stuttgart, Germany on 4 April 1987. Of Tunisian descent, he came through Stuttgart's academy and won the Bundesliga in 2007. He joined Real Madrid in 2010 for €14 million and won La Liga, the Champions League in 2014, and the Copa del Rey. He moved to Juventus in 2015 on a free transfer, winning five Serie A titles. A powerful, intelligent midfielder with excellent timing of runs into the box, he earned 77 caps for Germany and was a key member of their 2014 World Cup-winning squad.
