He came through Leicester City's academy and was part of their remarkable rise, earning a move to Chelsea in 2020 for £50 million. An energetic, technically proficient left-back, he was a key performer in Chelsea's Champions League triumph in 2021, playing every minute of the knockout rounds. He has been hampered by a serious ACL injury and subsequent fitness issues. He earned over 20 England caps. At Leicester, he won the FA Cup in 2021.
