Swedish striker and one of football's most prolific goalscorers, known for his acrobatic goals, technical ability, and charismatic personality.
Zlatan Ibrahimović was born in Malmö, Sweden in 1981, the son of a Bosnian father and Croatian mother who had emigrated to Sweden. He developed at Malmö FF and Ajax before Juventus signed him in 2004. He won league titles in seven different countries — Netherlands, Italy (twice), Spain, France (four times), England and USA — a unique record. He played for Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG, Manchester United, LA Galaxy and AC Milan again. His PSG career (2012–16) produced 156 goals in 180 appearances and four consecutive Ligue 1 titles. He returned to AC Milan at 38 and scored 30 goals in his first two seasons, including the decisive goal in the 2022 Serie A title. He earned 116 caps for Sweden, scoring 62 goals — the national record. His bicycle kick against England in 2012 — a 30-yard overhead volley — is the most celebrated individual goal in international football of the modern era. His combination of size (6ft 5in), skill and confidence made him one of football's most unique personalities.
Scoring spectacular acrobatic goals and playing for multiple top European clubs
He won league titles in four different countries — Holland, Italy, Spain and France — the only player in football history to achieve this.
