American basketball player and coach, widely considered one of the greatest women's basketball players of all time with dominant college career at USC.

Cheryl Miller was born in Riverside, California in 1964. She won the national championship at USC in 1984 and 1985 and was named All-American three consecutive times. She won the Naismith Award — college basketball's highest individual honour — three times (1984, 1985, 1986). She won Olympic gold with USA at Los Angeles 1984 and was the team's leading scorer. Her USC career produced a 105-3 record. She is the younger sister of NBA star Reggie Miller. She became a prominent broadcaster and coach after her playing career, working as a television analyst and coaching USC and the Phoenix Mercury. She was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1995 and is considered the greatest women's basketball player of the pre-WNBA era.
