Willian Borges da Silva was born in Ribeirão Pires, Brazil on 9 August 1988. After spells at Corinthians, Shakhtar Donetsk and Anzhi Makhachkala, he joined Chelsea in 2013 for £30 million. A consistent performer with excellent dribbling, pace and an eye for important goals, he made 339 appearances and scored 63 goals for Chelsea. He won two Premier League titles (2015, 2017), the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League in 2019. He earned 70 caps for Brazil. He joined Arsenal on a free transfer in 2020 but struggled before returning to Corinthians and then Fulham.
