Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the Toronto Blue Jays' supremely talented first baseman and son of Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero. His exceptional bat speed, natural hitting ability, and developing power have produced seasons that recall his father's greatness. His 2021 season, in which he hit 48 home runs and challenged for the Triple Crown, established him as one of baseball's elite offensive players. Guerrero signed a 14-year contract extension with Toronto in 2025 and drove the Blue Jays to their first World Series appearance since 1993, hitting a leadoff double in the 11th inning of an epic Game 7 that the Dodgers ultimately won 5-4.
