Tanner Gudauskas

American surfer from San Clemente, the youngest of the three Gudauskas brothers, known for his competitive career and the 'Paradise Projects' video series documenting global surf travel.

Born in San Clemente, California, Tanner Gudauskas is the youngest of the three surfing Gudauskas brothers, following twins Patrick and Dane onto the professional tour. Their father Tom, a surf-industry figure, had the boys surfing one-foot waves at Doheny State Beach almost as soon as they could walk. Tanner qualified for the Championship Tour and competed alongside his brothers through the 2010s, a period documented extensively in surf media given the rarity of three siblings all reaching professional surfing's top level simultaneously. He is credited by his brothers as a source of the family's positive, grounded outlook, with Dane once writing 'Positive Warrior' on the underside of Tanner's board before a heat to encourage him through a difficult stretch on tour. Beyond competition, Tanner created the 'Paradise Projects' video series, documenting international surf travel, which was nominated for a Surfer Poll Award. Along with his brothers, he has led the Gudauskas family's philanthropic surf initiatives, including distributing 200 surfboards to communities in Jamaica, documented in the film 'Positive Vibration'.
