Everton and England's elegant right midfielder who won two league titles with Everton and became one of the few British players to succeed in France.

Trevor Steven was one of the best English midfielders of the 1980s despite never receiving the recognition his performances deserved. He won two First Division titles and an FA Cup with Everton during their golden period. He was part of the England squad for three major tournaments and moved to Marseille, where he won the French league title.

He won the league title in both England and France — one of very few British players to do so.
