Sebastian Korda was born on 5 July 2000 in Bradenton, Florida, and is the son of 1998 Australian Open champion Petr Korda. He played college tennis at Florida before turning professional in 2019. Korda made his mark at Grand Slams relatively quickly, reaching the 2022 Australian Open quarter-finals and the 2024 Australian Open semi-finals. He is a tall, attacking baseliner with a natural game and a bright future. His sisters Nelly and Jessica are elite professional golfers, making the Korda family one of the most remarkable sporting dynasties in the United States.
He is most famous for winning his first ATP title at the 2021 Emilia-Romagna Open in Parma, Italy.
