Dariusz Dziekanowski was Poland's most dangerous striker of the late 1980s. At Celtic he became a cult hero despite a brief stay, particularly for his extraordinary performance against Partizan Belgrade in the 1989-90 European Cup — he scored four goals in a 5-4 win that Celtic ultimately didn't progress from. He won 62 Poland caps.
