Ravindra Jadeja was born on 6 December 1988 in Navagam-Khed, Rajkot, Gujarat, India. He made his ODI debut in 2009 and Test debut in 2012. Jadeja is regarded as the finest bowling all-rounder India has produced since Kapil Dev. His left-arm spin is accurate, venomous and adaptable on any surface. As a batsman he has single-handedly saved and won Tests for India with counterattacking lower-order innings. He also holds the record for most catches as a fielder in Tests. He is a three-time IPL champion with Chennai Super Kings and is known as 'Sir Jadeja' by fans.
