Patrick Kane

American ice hockey right winger, three-time Stanley Cup champion and 2016 Hart Trophy winner, considered one of the most skilled players of his generation.

Patrick Timothy Kane was born in Buffalo, New York in 1988. Chicago Blackhawks selected him first overall in the 2007 NHL Draft. His career has produced 464 goals and 776 assists for 1,225 career points. He won three Stanley Cup championships with Chicago (2010, 2013, 2015) and the Hart Trophy as MVP in 2016 — the first American-born player in history to win the award. He won the Art Ross Trophy as scoring champion in 2016. He won the Calder Trophy as best rookie in 2008. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP in 2013. He won Olympic gold with the USA in 2010. He scored the Stanley Cup-winning overtime goal in 2010 — his celebration running across the ice before the goal was officially confirmed is one of hockey's most replayed moments. His partnership with Jonathan Toews — arguably the finest centre-wing combination of his era — produced three championships and defined Chicago hockey for 15 years.
