Kolo Abib Touré was born in Bouaké, Ivory Coast on 19 March 1981. He joined Arsenal from ASEC Mimosas in 2002 and quickly established himself as a first-choice centre-back. Athletic, brave and aggressive, he was a vital part of the 'Invincibles' squad. He made 326 appearances for Arsenal before joining Manchester City in 2009, where he won the Premier League in 2012 and the FA Cup. He later moved to Liverpool and then Celtic, winning the Scottish Premiership. He earned over 120 caps for Ivory Coast and won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015. After retiring, he moved into coaching.
