Detroit Pistons selected him 39th overall in the 2012 NBA Draft and traded him to Milwaukee the following year in the Brandon Jennings deal — one of the most lopsided trades in recent NBA history given what Middleton became. His decade-plus with the Bucks transformed him from a second-round afterthought into a three-time All-Star and NBA champion.
