Two-time European Footballer of the Year — England's most iconic player of the 1970s, a relentlessly hard-working forward who won everything in England and Germany.
Kevin Keegan was European Footballer of the Year in 1978 and 1979 — the first Englishman to win the award twice. He was the driving force behind Liverpool's domestic dominance in the 1970s before moving to Hamburg, where he became one of Germany's most popular players. He won three league titles with Liverpool and one Bundesliga title with Hamburg.
He is the only English player to win the European Footballer of the Year award — doing so twice consecutively.
