Jan Oblak was born in Škofja Loka, Slovenia on 7 January 1993. He joined Atlético Madrid from Benfica in 2014 and has since established himself as one of the greatest goalkeepers of his generation. His reflexes, positioning and ability to make crucial saves in big moments are unparalleled. He has won the Zamora Trophy (Spain's best goalkeeper award) a record six times. He won La Liga in 2021, two Europa Leagues and the UEFA Super Cup. He has made over 400 appearances for Atlético. He has earned over 65 caps for Slovenia and captains the national team.
