Bradley Emanuel Beal was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1993. Washington Wizards selected him third overall in the 2012 NBA Draft. His career has produced 22.1 points per game and three All-Star appearances. He averaged 31.3 points per game in 2020-21 — the highest scoring average in the NBA that season and one of the highest in Wizards franchise history. Despite this production Washington did not qualify for the playoffs — making it one of the more prolific individual seasons without playoff success in NBA history. He was named All-NBA Third Team twice. He won Olympic gold with the USA at Tokyo 2020. He signed a five-year, $251 million supermax contract with Washington in 2022 before being traded to Phoenix in 2023. His combination of off-the-dribble scoring and catch-and-shoot reliability from the three-point line made him one of the more dangerous individual scorers in the league across his prime years.
