Alexa Grasso is Mexico's first UFC women's champion, having shocked the world with a submission victory over Valentina Shevchenko to claim the flyweight title in 2023. A technically sound striker with improving grappling, Grasso's victory was one of the biggest upsets in women's UFC history. Her subsequent trilogy with Shevchenko has produced some of women's MMA's finest fights and cemented her as one of the division's elite champions.
