The greatest catcher in baseball history — ten World Series rings, three AL MVP awards and the most famous collection of malapropisms in sporting history.

Yogi Berra won more World Series rings than any player in baseball history — ten with the New York Yankees. His combination of clutch hitting, durability and exceptional game-calling made him the finest catcher of his era. He was also one of baseball's most beloved personalities, famous for apparently contradictory statements — "It ain't over 'til it's over," "Nobody goes there anymore; it's too crowded" — known as Yogi-isms.

"It ain't over 'til it's over" — coined by Berra during the 1973 pennant race — is the most quoted phrase in American sporting history.
