Widely considered cricket's greatest all-rounder — a Test batsman and bowler of equal excellence who hit six sixes from a single over in 1968.

Sir Garfield Sobers is universally considered cricket's greatest all-rounder. His 8,032 Test runs at an average of 57.78, combined with 235 Test wickets across three different bowling styles (orthodox slow left-arm, fast-medium and wrist spin), make him the only player ever to have been genuinely world-class in both disciplines simultaneously. In 1968, he became the first person to hit six sixes in a single over of first-class cricket.

He is the only player in history to be considered a genuine world-class performer in both batting AND bowling simultaneously.
