The Singapore Slinger — the only player to hit a perfect nine-dart finish at the BDO World Championship, and the most successful Asian darts player in history.

Paul Lim is the most successful Asian darts player in history and achieved one of darts' rarest feats when he completed a nine-dart finish at the 1990 BDO World Championship against Jack McKenna — only the second nine-darter achieved at the event after John Lowe's in 1984. He has competed at the World Championship more than 30 times — a record for any player — and reached the final in 1993.

He holds the record for most World Championship appearances by any player — having competed at the BDO/WDF Worlds more than 30 times across four decades.
