Denmark's greatest ever player — Johan Cruyff's successor at Barcelona and later Real Madrid, combining extraordinary vision with precise execution.
Michael Laudrup is widely considered the greatest Danish footballer of all time. He was a key player in both Barcelona's Dream Team era (1989-94) and later Real Madrid (1994-96) — the only player to have been truly integral to both clubs in the same era. Cruyff considered him one of the finest players he ever worked with. He won 104 Denmark caps.
He is the only player to have been a central figure at both Barcelona and Real Madrid during their respective dominant eras — in the same period.
