Sparky — one of the most competitive and technically accomplished centre-forwards of his era, winning four FA Cups with Manchester United.

Mark Hughes was one of the most technically gifted and combative centre-forwards of the 1980s and 1990s. His aerial ability, chest control and fierce competitiveness made him a terrier-like presence. He won two First Division titles and four FA Cups with Manchester United, and became Wales's record cap holder before being surpassed.

He became the first player to win four FA Cup winner's medals since the 1950s.
