Tottenham's French flying winger — FWA and PFA Player of the Year in the same season, widely considered the most naturally gifted winger in the Premier League's early years.

David Ginola was one of the most naturally gifted and physically striking players to have played in the Premier League. His pace, balance, dribbling and left foot made him virtually unplayable on his day. He won the FWA and PFA Player of the Year awards in the same season (1999) — both of which caused considerable surprise given Tottenham finished tenth.

He won the PFA and FWA Player of the Year awards in the same season despite Tottenham finishing tenth in the Premier League.
