West Brom and England striker who was one of the first Black players to represent England at senior level — a trailblazer whose courage in the face of racism changed English football.

Cyrille Regis was one of the first Black players to play for England's senior team, winning five caps and representing a hugely significant step forward in English football's relationship with race. At West Brom he was part of the famous "Three Degrees" trio alongside Laurie Cunningham and Brendon Batson. He won the FA Cup with Coventry in 1987 and was awarded the MBE for services to football.

He, Laurie Cunningham and Brendon Batson were nicknamed "The Three Degrees" at West Brom — one of football's most culturally significant partnerships.
