Carlos Henrique José Francisco Venâncio Casimiro, known as Casemiro, was born in São José dos Campos, Brazil on 23 February 1992. He rose through São Paulo's academy and joined Real Madrid in 2013. After a loan at Porto, he became an indispensable part of Madrid's midfield alongside Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić, winning five Champions League titles (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022), three La Liga titles and numerous other trophies. In August 2022, Manchester United signed him for £60 million. He won the League Cup in 2023 at Old Trafford. Internationally, he has earned over 70 caps for Brazil, winning the Copa América in 2019 and featuring at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups.
